“Our goal in setting these schedules is two-fold,” Blank said. “We want to treat each of the finalists as fairly as possible by having them attend similar events on all the campuses, and we want to provide the public and news media maximum opportunity to interact with all four of the finalists.”


Blank once again emphasized that the Board of Regents will move quickly to name a new president. “When these interviews and visits are completed, we hope people will take advantage of our website to give us immediate feedback on their impressions and judgments,” Blank said. “We hope to hold a special meeting and select our new president within a few days following these visits.”
