Agenda Updated for March 5 Board of Regents Meeting
The agenda for the March 5, 2010, meeting of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents has been updated to include the following:
  • Additional language to the agenda item relating to the Industrial Arts Building. The following language has been added: “The University reserves the right to extend the deadline on receipt of the completed response to the RFP if a proposer provides assurance before June 15, 2010, that it is preparing a proposal that would be consistent with the terms of this RFP, that it requires more time to complete the proposal, and that the proposed time frame for completion of the proposal will not unreasonably delay other activities on the property.” (Addendum IX-B-6)
  • A correction to the operating and maintenance figure for the Harold M. and Beverly Maurer Center for Public Health building. The correct ongoing fiscal impact for operating and maintenance is $745,845. (Addendum IX-B-8)
  • The recommendation of Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture to provide architectural design services for the Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. (Addendum IX-B-9)
  • A revised figure in the agenda item relating to the UNO Student Housing Project. The maximum borrowing the University can pursue in building the UNO Student Housing Project has been increased to $18 million to allow the University more flexibility in the sale of revenue bonds should rates remain at their current historic lows. (Addendum IX-B-11)
