University of Nebraska alumnus and cattleman Paul F. Engler of Amarillo, Texas, announced today a $20 million gift to support programs in agri-business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Friday, March 5, 2010, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. Committee meetings begin at 8 a.m. and the Board meeting begins at 10 a.m. All meetings are open to the public. Meetings also will be audio-streamed live at www.nebraska.edu.
Jim Clifton to Highlight Nebraska Summit on Entrepreneurship
"Entrepreneurial Lifestyles and Legacies" is the theme of the fourth annual Nebraska Summit on Entrepreneurship, to be held Feb. 26 at the Holiday Inn Downtown, 141 N. 9th St. in Lincoln. The 2010 summit will feature educators, business leaders, government officials, entrepreneurs and small business owners from across Nebraska. Last year’s event drew about 400 participants.
President Milliken's testimony on LB1001
University of Nebraska President J.B. Milliken today testified before the Legislature's Education Committee on LB1001, a bill that would repeal a state law that allows children of undocumented immigrants to pay in-state tuition rates.
