College Portrait/VSA
The College Portrait, part of the Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA) is designed to improve public understanding of how public colleges and universities operate. It provides consistent, comparable and transparent information on the characteristics of institutions and students, cost of attendance, student engagement with the learning process and core educational outcomes. The information is intended for students, families, policy-makers, campus faculty and staff, the general public and other higher education stakeholders. The VSA project is a collaborative effort among the
American Association of State Colleges and Universities, the
National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges and the public higher education community.
The University of Nebraska offers this information to help current and future students and their families better understand the University. We encourage you to review the College Portraitfor each of our campuses and those of other colleges and universities as a starting point to explore the higher education opportunities available to you.
