Leah serves as the principal administrator for 35 sports clubs, oversees the youth and family recreation program, and develops recreation programs for students with disabilities. She has been recognized nationally for her expertise in these areas, and is in demand as a speaker at professional association conferences.

Leah created the successful Junior Blackshirts, Husker Kids, and Husker Adventures recreational day camps. The Junior Blackshirts program offers day camp for children while their parents are attending home Big Red football games.
