Mike McGlade

Mike joined the staff of the Dean's Office in the College of Medicine in 1980 as an accountant and financial analyst. He has been the administrative director for internal medicine since 1992. His primary responsibility is managing the finances of this large and complex department, which has eleven sections, ranging from cardiology to geriatrics to rheumatology.

"Every day we do something wonderful," Mike says, "whether it's closing a deal with a great recruit or helping a faculty member get important equipment for a lab."

Mike is a former University of Nebraska at Kearney offensive lineman and in his spare time climbs mountains and runs marathons in such cities as New York, Boston, and Omaha
