Sue supervises the division's business center. She has served in ths role for 12 years and directs a staff of five, whose functions include payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. In addition, she provides guidance for division managers on personnel issues and is a primary contact with the UNL administrative and human resources offices.

Under Sue's leadership, the division's goal is to have all financial data recorded and entered into the financial system withing 24 hours of receipt. This helps assure that records are up to date so that critical management decisions can be made with confidence in the financial situation.

Last year Sue volunteered to be trained in on-line payroll processing, which has had the immediate positive effect of reducing errors and the resultant employee complaints.
