This KUDOS award recognizes the contributions of Bryan Samuel. Since coming to the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2000, Bryan has held the positions of Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Coordinator of the Multicultural Recruitment Office for the Office of Admissions and now serves as the Interim Director of Multicultural Affairs at UNK.

His list of accomplishments includes the planning, coordination and implementation of several important initiatives that have become fixtures of UNK’s multicultural landscape including: the Campus Visit Program for urban students in Nebraska and surrounding states; the UNK Cultural Unity Conference, an annual event that attracts hundreds of multicultural students to campus; the annual Multicultural Scholars and Leaders Day that introduces students to UNK’s learning, development and financial aid opportunities; and a scholarship program for students who commit to assisting the development of the multicultural community at UNK.
