Center for Healthy Living in the Business and Finance Division
Over the past 18 months, UNMC’s business and finance office has been using eye-catching posters to encourage employees to nominate their colleagues for recognition with the "Silver U" award for excellent performance. There is a committee - of course - to come up with the theme for each poster, but Sarah provides the artwork and computer graphics. One poster featured Vice Chancellor Don Leuenberger and three other administrators replacing the presidents’ images on Mount Rushmore.
The posters are a fun way of catching people’s attention, and they are examples of Sarah’s willingness to devote time to worthwhile projects in addition to her regular duties. Those duties include providing administrative services to the staff of the Center for Healthy Living, coordinating the front office staff who work nights and weekends, and doing layout and design work for brochures and flyers distributed to all campus departments.
