Deb is the primary post-award specialist for research grants awarded to the Colleges of Engineering & Technology, Human Resources & Family Sciences, and Journalism & Mass Communications - as well as for Cooperative Extension and the Nebraska State Museum. She oversees grants in excess of $17 million per year.

Deb has helped faculty researchers improve grants management practices by providing them specialized financial reports, helping them forecast annual expenses, and prompting them on report time-lines and deadlines. In short, she provides exceptional one-on-one services. She does all of this in addition to her normal duties of reconciling budgets and reports on the accounts she manages - over 740 of them in the past six months alone.
