Julie A. Dinsmore
Julie A. Dinsmore
Professor of Counseling and School Psychology
College of Education

Julie is a dedicated professional who has earned the respect of students and colleagues. She is an advocate of multicultural education and counseling – not only on the UNK campus, but throughout the region. She has been a leader on issues related to social justice.

Last month, largely due to Julie’s efforts, UNK was chosen one of four universities nationwide to host a Multicultural Competence and Social Justice Conference. At the conference hundreds of faculty members, staff, and students - as well as community health care providers and educators from the region - learned how to work effectively, respectfully, and ethically with culturally diverse populations
