Thomas J. McAndrewThomas J. McAndrew
Research and Production Coordinator
Department of Agronomy and Horticulture
TJ’s responsibilities include management of the Agronomic and Horticulture research areas located at the Agriculture Research and Development Center near Ithaca, the Havelock Farm, and the crop nursery areas on UNL’s East Campus.
Since joining the staff in 1999, TJ has been responsible for modernizing farming operations, and managing planting and harvest operations to make them operate ‘in the black’. He has proven himself an expert in every aspect of farm management, and works very effectively with a large group of faculty engaged in development of immensely diverse cropping systems.
