Mary K. Daake
Mary K. Daake
Director of Advising

Students meet Mary and her colleagues during the summer advising and enrollment period when they plan their first semester of classes. When they return in the fall, many students again seek her out and use her as their primary resource while they adjust to campus life and the rigor of university-level courses.

As a former faculty member, Mary understands the concerns of faculty as well as the needs of the students. She has taken the initiative to develop programs such as the Early Warning Referral Program to involve faculty in helping make sure difficulties experienced by students are addressed early and effectively.
