Linda D. RossiterLinda D. Rossiter
Department of English
This KUDOS recognition goes to Linda D. Rossiter, Administrative Assistant for the Department of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her meticulous nature and attention to detail have been outstanding during her 35 years of service within the English Department.
Linda keeps accounts on one of the college’s largest department budgets at about $5 million. Even more impressive, she has never been off more than fifty cents at the end of the fiscal year.
Her reputation of excellence has spread to other areas of the campus too. Many new systems, including the implementation of the SAP system and the development of a computer model designed to track the productivity of each department, are tested in the English department because Linda can provide such good feedback. Another example of her great work was in helping the College of Arts and Sciences set up new business centers. Linda was selected because of her ability to develop and maintain very complex systems, in addition to helping others to learn how to use them too.
