Paula also serves as an assistant for the UNK College of Education Clinic. She is described by her supervisor and colleagues as "loyal, humorous and positive" and "committed to UNK at the department, college and university levels".
Paula provides constant assistance to the faculty in the Department of Communication Disorders. She is known for displaying genuine concern for students, always making time to listen and always going the extra mile to make their UNK experience as positive and successful as possible. During their most recent accreditation site visit, Paula was recognized as one of the strengths of the Department of Communication Disorders.
In her capacity as assistant for the College of Education Clinic, she serves as liaison to the Kearney community. In addition, she is active in the college and across campus and she does not hesitate to assume additional responsibilities. According to her supervisor, Paula is "the perfect staff colleague".
For her superior dedication and service to the university community, the Board of Regents is pleased to present Paula Gaasch with a KUDOS award. Joining Paula today are her husband Stephen, Laurence Hilton, Department Chair and Professor of Communication Disorders, and Barbara Hilton.
