Administrative Assistant with Business & Finance, UNO

Marilyn is an integral component of her unit and was named Employee of the Month for her tremendous ability to multi-task.

A 20-year member of the University, Marilyn began her service to UNO as a staff secretary before advancing to her current position. She said she is inspired by students' energy and enjoys her position because it involves a variety of tasks and challenges.

On a regular basis, she can be found reconciling cost centers for the vice chancellor for Business and Finance and the chancellor. Prior to submitting payments, she researches expenditures and supporting details. She also is kept busy managing the vice chancellor's calendar and setting up numerous meetings.
