Administrative Technician in Athletics, UNO

A love of sports and a recommendation from a friend attracted Lynn Conner, administrative technician with Athletics, to UNO more than 24 years ago. During her time on campus (all spent in Athletics), she has assisted many student athletes and witnessed numerous championship wins.

For Lynn, work often becomes like play as she enjoys assisting student athletes and her co-workers. Her position also gives her a chance to work at a variety of events as well as with booster clubs.

Although her office atmosphere can become challenging at times, Lynn said she appreciates the opportunities. Co-workers admire the ease at which she transitions from task to task and her dependability during chaotic times. Colleagues have commented on how her enthusiasm and determination is vital to the success of the department.

Some of Lynn’s favorite memories at UNO include traveling by bus with the women’s basketball and volleyball teams for national championships. She also fondly recalls watching the softball team win the 2001 national championship in Salem, VA.
