Judy KueblerOffice Associate, Department of Biology, UNK
On behalf of the Board of Regents, it is my pleasure to present a KUDOS award to Judith Kuebler, Office Associate for the University of Nebraska at Kearney Department of Biology.
Judy has served in this position since October of 1999 and, according to Biology Chair, Dr. John Hertner, she has a “history of demonstrating superb proficiency in the enthusiastic execution of her responsibilities.” The Department of Biology is one of UNK’s largest academic units. Judy’s responsibilities include coordinating purchasing and budgets, assisting with schedule preparation, overseeing student employees, helping with course material preparation for faculty, and all departmental accounting. “My days,” she says, “are never boring!”

In effect, she is responsible for the first and likely the longest lasting impression formed by office visitors, and she is known for being welcoming and helpful to all.
Judy’s Biology Department colleagues also credit her for continually developing new skills in office management, never satisfied to remain static. Simply put, Judy does not merely do her job well. Rather, she is remarkably consistent in doing a very difficult job in a very outstanding way.
With Judy today is her husband, Bob Kuebler and Chair of UNK’s Department of Biology, John Hertner and his wife Anita. Please join me in congratulating Judy for her superior service and her commitment to the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
