Business Officer for the IANR Finance and Personnel Office, UNL

Jeff manages IANR’s financial operation by providing organizational leadership, structural design and development, policy and procedure development and implementation, financial management, strategic planning, analysis and problem resolution. He directly manages the IANR Finance and Personnel Office with shared supervision of IANR business center managers and indirect oversight of eight business center offices. He coordinates all facets of the IANR business operation to promote the efficient and effective use of organizational resources.

Because of his background and experience, Jeff provides excellent leadership of the unit, is creative and innovative in thinking of ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, and has superior business and financial management skills. Jeff is also patient, caring, understanding and tolerant. He focuses on relevant issues, is an excellent communicator with fine presentation and speaking skills, and his work is of the utmost quality and accuracy. He creates a team atmosphere by promoting group development, participation and decision-making. He leads by example while working hard to be a team player.
